Job Summary: As an Engineering Intern at Dempsey, you'll dive into a world of project-based assignments designed to hone your skills and expand your knowledge. Under the guidance of our experienced engineering and maintenance team, you'll receive comprehensive mentorship, detailed orientation, and hands-on training to prepare you for success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our talented maintenance and production teams to assess and improve manufacturing operations and processes.
• Utilize your analytical skills to collect and analyze data, conduct time studies, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Take charge of organizing parts inventory, evaluating min/max levels, and recommending necessary additions.
• Contribute to the development of process procedures, ensuring clarity and accuracy in documentation.
• Assist in preparing specifications and effectively communicate changes to the team.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented changes, driving continuous improvement.
• Embark on exciting miscellaneous projects directed by our Engineering Manager.

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in process engineering or related field preferred.

• Excellent communication and verbal skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Works well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
